The Stylish Mum 2023 Highlights and Achievements

If I was to summerise 2023 in one word, I would say "growth". In March 2023, I welcomed my new born baby girl Gabrielle, my blessing and my motivation. With a great support network around me as a new mum, I was able to slowly and steadly return to my social media influencing and content creation activities. It wasn't until June 2023 when opportunities and collaborations started to come my way, and I am truly grateful for every opportunity that came my way in 2023. Here is The Stylish Mum's top 7 highlights and achievements in 2023:

Finalist for the ‘Social Media Influencer’ awards at the Milton Keynes Inspirations Awards 2023

To my surprise in May 2023 I discovered that I was a finalist for an award titled 'Best Social Media Influencer'. Although this may have come as a shock to me, I was happy that my social media influencing and content creation contributions to Milton Keynes based businesses and brands were recognised.

2023-2024 Winner of “VIP Family” at Midsummer Place Shopping Centre

In August 2023, Midsummer Place Shopping Centre in the City of Milton Keynes announced their two very own VIP Families, my family and another Milton Keynes based influencer's family were announced winners on the Midsummer Place website and social

media platforms. My family and I were thrilled for winning the competition which we entered in May 2023. Following the winners announcement, I have created fashion and family day out contents for the shopping centre whilst having fun in the process with my family. I look forward for what is in store for us in 2024 with the shopping centre.

Created over 40+ Social Media Video Contents for brands and businesses

As per the title, I (Lisette) through The Stylish Mum brand, I was able to create social media contents and advertise on my social media platforms for brands and businesses locally and internationally as a freelancer. I am grateful for all the opportunities that came my way. I am so excited for 2024 opportunities and collaborations. Some of the brands I created contents and advertised for, included; Dove deodorants, body wash and body lotion products, La Redoute fashion brand, Baby Elegance products, Cantu Beauty products, Restaurants reviews including Namji restaurant based in Milton Keynes and more.

Panel judge at the Miss Pride of Africa 2023

I had the privilege and honour to participate as a panel judge member for the 2023 Miss Pride of Africa grand finale. The night was filled with beauty, grace, excellence, compassion, confidence and women empowerment.

Re-launched The Stylish Mum Website

I relaunched TSM website this year, re-definedand introduced new services including content creation and social media influencing, personal and group fashion styling and more.

Introduced Re-wear and Re-style

A fashion concept with the aim to empower women to elevate their fashion style, the cost effective way! By looking into their wardrobe first to find a creative way to rewear the same outfits for different occasions with different accessories for styling instead of buying new outfits for every occasion

Attended 10+ networking events

And this is exactly my reasons for attending network events, I wish I could have attended more events but as a new mum, I needed to work around my new born needs. However, I am still grateful that I was able to attend the events that I did manage to attend and the connections I made with likeminded individuals across different industries.
