Black British Businesses were celebrated at the 10th Annual Black British Business Awards 2023

Me posing with Kazee Clement, the Senior Executive Director at the Black British Business Awards

In the evening of Friday, 13th October 2023 I attended the prestigious 10th annual BBBA awards with a 24 hour notice to attend the event to represent my friend Nomalanga Senda, a BBC MasterChef Quarter Finalist and Founder of Noma Creates, who was nominated and a finalists for the Rising Star awards for the category of Luxury and Consumer.

The awards show was hosted at the prestigious InterContinental London Park Lane hotel in the heart of London city.

The evening started with a networking ambiance and press. Soon, we were escorted to our nicely decorated tables.

Once seated, the evening kicked off with a rather powerful welcome note from Dr Sophie Chandauka MBE, Chair and Executive Founder at the Black British Business Awards. Towards the end of her speech, she welcomed on stage and introduced the newly appointed Senior Executive Director at the Black British Business Awards, Kazee Clement.

I connected with amazing women entrepreneurs, movers and shakers. Including, two beautiful women, Audrey Limery, CEO and Founder of Kweevo and Gail Waterman, Co Founder of Watermans, a luxury hair growth and beauty products.

What an inspiring night, I felt empowered myself as a Black British creator and entrepreneur.
